Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of
your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. (Leviticus
19:18)
Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but
always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. (1 Thessalonians 5:15)
Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. (Luke 6:27)
You have heard that it was said, "Eye for eye,
and tooth for tooth." But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone
strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. (Matthew

If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from
taking your tunic. (Luke 6:29)
Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone

is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals

priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, No more of this. And he
