bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your
name. (Psalm 66:4) Praise the Lord,
O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life form the pit and
crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with
good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm
103:2-5) Therefore, I urge
you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living
sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of
worship. (Romans 12:1)
Yet a time is coming
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in
spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
(John 4:23) God is spirit,
and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) |
