God our Savior ... wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (I Timothy 2:3-4) He chose to give us birth through the word of truth " that we might be a kind of first-fruits of all he created. (James 1:18) O Lord, do not your eyes look for truth? (Jeremiah 5:3) Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place. (Psalm 51:6) Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth. (Psalm 86:11) Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth. (Psalm 26:2-3) Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. (Psalm 43:3) We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 14:6) I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.  (John 8:31-32) But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done through God. (John 3:21) When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.  (John 15:26) But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.  (John 16:13) May your love and your truth always protect me. (Psalm 40:11) The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (Psalm 145:18) Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding. (Proverbs 23:23) I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws. (Psalm 119:30) Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (Ephesians 6:14-15) But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (Romans 2:8) Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:25-26) He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. (John 8:44) They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
