Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
(Proverbs 16:3)
There
is no wisdom, no insight, no plan than can succeed against the LORD.
(Proverbs 21:30) The
LORD works out everything for His own ends. (Proverbs 16:4) Unless
the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. (Psalm 127:1) Many
are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that
prevails. (Proverbs 19:21) In his
heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
(Proverbs 16:9) Now
listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city,
spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not
even know what will happen tomorrow. (James 4:13-14) What is
your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then
vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will
live and do this or that." (James 4:15) The
plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through
all generations. And we
know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28) If God
is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) He who
began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of
Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6) When a
man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at
peace with him. (Proverbs 16:7) Commit
your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make
your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like
the noonday sun. (Psalm 37:5-6) Woe to
those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the LORD, who do
their work in darkness and think, "Who sees us? Who will know?" (Isaiah
29:15) There
is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
(Proverbs 14:12)
All a
man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD.
