He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. (Proverbs 28:13) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:10) O LORD, we acknowledge our wickedness and the guilt of our fathers; we have indeed sinned against you. (Jeremiah 14:20) We have sinned, even as our fathers did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly. (Psalm 106:6) We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. (Daniel 9:5) I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. (Psalm 38:19) How many wrongs and sins have I committed? Show me m offense and my sin. (Job 13:23) Then I acknowledged my sin to yu and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD"--and you forgave the guilt of my sin. (Psalm 32:5) I said, "O LORD, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you." (Psalm 41:4) Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. (James 5:16) Take hold of eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12) Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm 51:1-2)
