     Questions to Ask Your Doctor

bulletWhat is the name of the medication and what is it supposed to do?
bulletHow and when do I take it, and when do I stop taking it?
bulletWhat foods, drinks, or other medications should I avoid while taking it?
bulletShould it be taken with food or on an empty stomach?
bulletIs it safe to drink alcohol while on this medication?
bulletWhat are the side effects, and what should I do if they occur?
bulletAre there differences in the way my child might take it if is prescribed for him/her?


     Should A Christian Take Medication for Mental Health Problems?

bulletThere is nothing in the Bible that would prohibit you from taking appropriate medication
bulletIF your problems are mild to moderate, you may not need medication
bulletIf your problems are moderate to severe, you'll probably need medication, at least temporarily
bulletTalk to your doctor about any concerns you might have
